Warkworth River

The bows, bowsprit and anchor of the Jane Gifford moored at the wharf on Warkworth River. The last of the rigged sailing scows in NZ, built in 1873 at Whangateau and restored to magnificent condition after being purchased in a derelict condition by a local trust. She takes excursions and private charters out on the Hauraki Gulf and Waitemata Harbour
