I like nothing better than being out in the early morning on a fine day with the fresh light and air. I was travelling north one morning and reached Tahuna around the blue and golden hours. One of my cameras is always on the seat beside me ready to catch scenes which I come upon. Tahuna is just a very small Waikato settlement with a few houses, school, gas station and a few businesses serving the rural area. There is a quite interesting RSA building (retired services club) which also serves as a war memorial but it has an art deco style entrance with a very plain exterior everywhere else. I did photograph the building and will post it sometime.
My goal is to present images of objects and places as naturally as possible with minimal post processing. I think the natural qualities will come through for the viewer with a little contemplation. Unfortunately there is little time for such things these days.
